A Little More About Me
Hi, I’m Eunji!
I’m a product designer with a background in art and digital marketing. I’ve always loved creatively connecting ideas and people. My journey began with visual storytelling through art and moved into marketing, where I learned strategic thinking. Now I combine both to design engaging experiences that feel simpler and more relatable.
My Design Approach
Balancing data insights with a people-focused approach
For me, design often begins with data. Whether it's numbers, patterns, or small observations from daily life, I enjoy digging into both quantitative and qualitative insights to understand what people need and why. This helps me identify problems, recognize trends, and define clearer design goals.
But data doesn't get the final say. I rely on design thinking methodologies to guide my process and ensure that the human perspective stays front and center. Data supports my decisions, but it doesn’t dictate them — so the final design feels thoughtful, relevant, and genuinely helpful.
Data shows patterns, but it doesn’t tell the full story of the people behind them

Designing with AI
How can AI enhance my design process?
For me, using AI in design is all about enhancing my process, not replacing it. Back in 2018, I worked as a Google Ads AI content reviewer, where I first saw AI generating ad copy and reviewing content. At the time, I wasn’t sure AI could capture the human touch, but things have changed.
Over the past few years, I’ve integrated AI into my design workflow, using it to make decisions faster and more effectively. It’s not about letting the machine take over, but about how we use it. This allows me to focus on what really matters: the creative and human aspects of design. As AI continues to shape how users interact with products, I’m excited to use it to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Personal Interests
Artist mindset shapes my design thinking
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me in the pottery studio or at a museum! There’s something beautiful about making pottery — I often think of it as a form of therapy. It allows me to reflect on myself and my career as a designer, and I find that creating something with my hands connects me to my work in unexpected ways.
The artist mindset is something I try to bring to everything I do, whether it’s critically analyzing objects or approaching social issues. Thinking outside the box always inspires me and helps me grow both as a designer and as a person.

Let’s connect!
Whether it’s design, tech or AI, I’m always up for a good conversation.
